Finally, after the government announcement on Friday, allowing organised outdoor activity for children from Saturday 27th March. We were out on the grass on Sunday morning starting with our Mini Ballers from Giants Grave BGC, and for the first time, we set up at the grass playing fields at Giants Grave BGC. Come rain or shine, we were so determined to give our Mini Ballers the opportunity to play, and they did so brilliantly. We would like to thank all the parents from both our Briton Ferry and Margam Groups for braving the cold and sometimes conditions, as we play football in Wales, it’s probably something you may need to get use too :-)
A big well done all our Mini Ballers at Giants Grave, you were fab as always.
Next, we held 4 Group sessions at Margam Youth Centre (equally as cold) with strong numbers in all our groups. Like our giants’ grave group all our Mini Ballers were fantastic, and a highlight of our week is seeing the smiles on the children’s faces to be back out playing fun football at Mini Ballers.
The groups were so good we chose not to award our Mini Baller of the week certificates this week as it was impossible to choose. Well done to you all.
At Margam, today we said goodbye to 4 of our Mini Ballers who are leaving us due to being too old for our groups, A sad day for us as they all have been with us from day 1, session 1. It was a privilege to give out some medals to mark the occasion, and they are thoroughly deserved. As we look back to when they 1st started with us, and compare them to now, not only have they become fantastic young footballers but also brilliant characters. We are immensely proud of you all and we look forward to watching you develop further over the coming years.
Fees and Payments
Today’s groups marked the end to our current block of sessions. Our next Sunday block will start on Sunday 11th April. Please can you secure your place in our soccer school by paying your fees the usual way. We ask that this is done no later than Saturday April 3rd 2021. This allows us plenty of time to understand current availability of places and get in touch with new Mini Ballers from our ever-growing waiting list. On Sunday we posted some pictures on our Social Media Channels and already we have had lots of enquiries about places at Mini Ballers., so understanding our new availability is important for us. When paying fees please ensure you child’s name is in the reference.
Orders
We will be placing a new order with our suppliers this week. I already have requests for Spencer P, Carwyn T and Thomas M. If Anyone wishes to order anything with us please get in touch, or order via our website, the link to this is below. If you would like to know what we can order and a price list, click the link to view all the products. We do have Tracksuits available to order which are shown on the order page, there are more expensive than we wanted to offer, however this is the best deal we could get from any supplier. We always aim to keep prices of orders as low as possible.
